I was honored to welcome county superintendents from Alpine, Amador, Del Norte, Mariposa, Plumas, and Sierra at the Capitol to discuss ways policymakers can support these rural school districts. Discussion also included workforce shortages and the challenges of recruiting teachers and nurses.
