We were treated to an incredible view at the Placer City/County Officials meeting in Colfax where we learned about the efforts by the County and CalFire to reduce the fuel that feeds dangerous wildfires. Thank you to our first responders for making it safer to live in this beautiful area, and to the City of Colfax for hosting the event.

California's 1st Senate District contains all or portions of 11 counties, including Alpine, El Dorado, Lassen, Modoc, Nevada, Placer, Plumas, Sacramento, Sierra, Siskiyou, and Shasta. Also serving deferred areas of Tehama, Butte, Colusa, and Glenn counties.
