My district director, Bruce Ross, and Alice Bennett from Assemblywoman Dahle’s office were honored to present a Resolution from the Legislature honoring Dr. Joe Wyse on his retirement as president of Shasta College.
Dr. Wyse was an innovative leader of the college as it developed one of the first community-college bachelor’s degrees, built ground-breaking technical courses in partnership with regional industries, launched and grew a remarkable program diverting students from the criminal-justice system into productive careers, and much more. I appreciate all he’s done for the college and the North State.
