High gas prices tacked onto the already high cost of living in California hurts those who can least afford it. With high grocery prices, outrageous utility bills, and housing prices all creating unbearable inflation that force families to flee. Californians need relief wherever they can get it. Unfortunately, the Legislature just passed an amended version of SBX1 2, which will provide taxing authority to a commission of governor's appointees that will ultimately raise prices and drive businesses out of California, making our state even more unaffordable.
