Californians are suffering:

  • Medically compromised residents rely on power for life-saving equipment
  • Residents and small businesses are losing thousands of dollars in groceries and products in their stores
  • Wells cannot pump fresh water, creating unsanitary conditions. Pets and livestock are also going thirsty
  • With the weather change, many areas throughout the PSPS are facing freezing conditions and unable to heat their homes

“If there were ever an extraordinary situation in which the legislature should be called back to Sacramento to solve a pressing issue this is it. We cannot go another week like this. It’s untenable, it’s inhumane, it’s cruel, and it is our duty to address these issues immediately. Waiting until January is not an option,” said Brian Dahle (R-Bieber)
