• Gary Wayne Archuleta passed away on February 23, 2022 at the age of 71. He lived a wonderful life of service to others and was loved by many, including his wife Connie, and daughters, Katherine and Angela.
• After attending school in Oroville, Gary Archuleta served his country through a five year tour in the US Air Force. He then worked as a valued employee of the City of Oroville Parks Department for 22 years.
• Gary retired from the department when he was elected as the Tribal Vice Chairman of Mooretown Rancheria, and later elected as Tribal Chairman. He served the Mooretown Rancheria for 20 years before retiring in 2016.
• He dedicated his life to improving opportunities for indigenous people and was a cherished friend to many.
